Understanding Crane Indicators: What They are and how they work

Crane indicators work by measuring various parameters and displaying the results to the operator. For example, load indicators use strain gauges or load cells to measure the weight of the load being lifted, and they display the weight on a digital or analog readout. Whereas angle indicators use sensors to measure the angle of the crane boom or jib, and they display the angle on a gauge or digital readout.
